We want to make sure that every time we do business something amazing happens…every time we help someone obtain a mortgage we will give back to individuals in need and to charitable causes around the world. We also give back to you too – but we can’t tell you how as that will ruin the surprise for you.
Mortgage brokers take their commission and arrangement fees and use these as profits. But we think there’s a better way. Using our business as a force for good is really important for us to make life easier and better for everyone we can in the world. Giving has become a habit for us. By making impacts every day, we believe that great things can be achieved.
We also empower our team to fulfil their giving potential by encouraging them to organise and take part in as many voluntary and fundraising activities as possible.
We are part of the Buy1Give1 initiative, which means every time a client chooses to do business with us, we donate money to causes all over the world.
We align our giving with B1G1 very closely to the UN Sustainable Development Goals to make sure we can really make a difference by supporting causes that end poverty, protect the planet and aim to create prosperity for all.
Some of the projects we’ve helped include; providing clean water to people all over the world, providing bricks to help build houses for families, providing transportation for children to get to school and providing medical care and medicine to individuals in need.
Working in the mortgage industry is very fulfilling, however, we know that there are many people less fortunate than ourselves that do not have a place to call home.
So every time a mortgage completes, we make a donation to the charity Shelter who provide advice, support and legal services for those who struggle with bad housing and are homeless.
For every new client who works with us we also donate a hot shower, a meal and a bed for the night on your behalf to an individual who is homeless in the UK. Many of us thankfully don’t know what it’s like to not have a place to live or to be cold and hungry and we want to help someone in this position.
Working with Deki allows us to provide loans to entrepreneurs in developing countries across the globe and help them create a sustainable business to provide for their families.
